Future Ready Summit

Choose Right. Choose Your Future.

The Grade 9 & Grade 11 Summit is an interactive career guidance and subject selection event designed to help learners make informed decisions about their future education and career pathways.

The event brings together universities, TVET and CET colleges, SETAs, government departments, professional bodies, employers, training providers, and industry experts to provide learners with accurate, practical, and inspiring information about opportunities after school.

Rather than a traditional exhibition, the Summit is a structured learning experience where learners participate in presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and interactive career exploration activities. The programme equips learners with the knowledge they need to confidently plan their academic and career journeys.

Why This Event Matters

Choosing the right subjects and career path is one of the most important decisions a learner will make. Many young people lack access to reliable career information and role models who can help them understand the opportunities available after school.

The Grade 9 & Grade 11 Summit bridges this gap by connecting learners with experts who can provide accurate information, practical advice, and inspiration. The event aims to empower young people to make informed choices, reduce uncertainty, and increase access to higher education, skills development, and meaningful employment opportunities.

Together, we are preparing the next generation to make informed decisions, unlock their potential, and build successful futures.
